Subscribers received comments on the Facebook page service’s top (and irrelevant) posts. Among them was the allegation that the NBA playoffs were underway, meaning that “this service is too expensive for such issues.” People have complained of disconnections in Alabama, Montana, Nebraska, Massachusetts, Pennsylvania, New York, Texas, Arizona, and many other states.
According to real-time shutdown monitoring site DownDetector, users started reporting issues with Hulu just before 5pm PT, and #huludown took to Twitter about 90 minutes later.
