The year is coming to a close, 12 months in which there has been something for everyone from comedy fans to thrill seekers. And it’s the best time to recall some of Netflix’s psychological thrillers that have been a hit for the platform throughout 2022 and have turned into a highlight among subscribers.
While still a release from last year, “The Woman in the Window” was one of Netflix’s most successful psychological thrillers of 2022. On several occasions, the story of Amy Adams, Julianne Moore and Gary Oldman has returned to being in the Top 10 most popular, with this story in which a psychologist catches the murder of one of her neighbors.

One of the phenomena that in terms of numbers has had a great reception, but the critics have not been entirely favorable is ‘spider head’, a sci-fi thriller from Netflix starring Chris Hemsworth and Miles Teller, about a prisoner who is the subject of an experiment by a scientist who tests drugs to control emotions.
Red dot
This has been the case since 2021 as well Netflix’s hit Swedish thriller called ‘Red dot’. The same case for ‘Intrusion’, one of Netflix’s thrillers that was a pleasant surprise in this 2022. Directed by Adam Salky and starring Freida Pinto, Logan Marshall-Green and others, the story follows a woman who lives with her husband , and that a break-in into her home leaves her with severe trauma from that event, she is now searching for answers.
Cage
One of the most recent additions, not only to the list, but also to Netflix, is “Cage”, a Spanish mystery film by Ignacio Tatay, starring Elena Anaya and Pablo Molinero. It is about a young couple who find a traumatized girl, from whom she decides to understand why she behaves like this, but her true identity hides a sinister past.
Hypnotic
And finally, another 2021 production, but this time a psychological thriller that was successful in several countries during its tenure on Netflix. This is “Hypnotic,” a story with Kate Siegel in which she brings Jenn to life, a woman who feels personally and professionally stuck. When she goes to a therapist, he offers her a mind game that ends very badly.
