Despite opposition from many directors, artists and creatives in the industry, Marvel Studios has decided to repeat the story that happened with Ryan Coogler and Chadwick Boseman’s first film at the Oscars, and now the campaign for ‘Black Panther: Wakanda Forever’ begins. ‘. Through his Twitter account, Marvel Studios has started the campaign to bring ‘Black Panther 2’ at the Oscars. In the publication, Kevin Feige’s company has released a poster in which Angela Bassett can be seen in the role of Ramonda, mother of T’Challa and Shuri, the two who wore the Black Panther costume, and who stood out for the her portrayal of the Queen of Wakanda.

This is ‘Black Panther 2’ it could compete at the Oscars for best picture, Best Actress for Letitia Wright, Best Supporting Actress for Angela Basset and Best Supporting Actor for Tenoch Huerta, among other categories. So, so far, this would be the first superhero movie to be considered for the upcoming Academy Awards, and fans are hoping the same will happen with ‘The Batman’ soon.

Marvel cuts important scene in ‘Black Panther 2’
After a year with several ups and downs for Marvel, Kevin Feige’s studio finally landed a critically acclaimed story with ‘Black Panther: Wakanda Forever’, which earned an 86% rating on Rotten Tomatoes, even though the first part remains to watch with 94 %. The film starring Letitita Wright and Tenoch Huerta was a huge success for Disney, but there was a newly discovered part that was cut.
Michael P. Shawver, editor of “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever,” revealed (via Giant Freakin Robot) that there was originally a scene that sparked a romantic relationship between Letitia Wright’s Shuri and Tenoch Huerta’s Namor, which ultimately it was demolished. In an interview with Newsweek, Shawver revealed that this moment was scrapped because it started too early in the storyline.
It’s too early to start with pools right now, but some critics and pundits believe Angela Basset’s work may be the only one capable of giving ‘Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, and Marvel too, a new statuette. But we’ll have to wait for the list of Academy nominees to be revealed.
