David Ayer’s ‘Suicide Squad’ Might Be Released Thanks To James Gunn

The premiere of Zack Snyder’s “Justice League” on HBO set a precedent in the power fans have over big business. And it is that, when Snyder was removed from Warner, the followers of him managed to get out his vision of “The Justice League”, and now David Ayer believes that the same could happen with James Gunn in the direction of DC Studios.

Through his Twitter account, a fan questioned the director about the possibility of releasing the film with Jared Leto, to whom David Ayer believes it ‘Suicide squad’ has a chance to debut. In addition, he spoke of the relationship he has with James Gunn, responsible for ‘The Suicide Squad’, and that he was the head of the company, with Peter Safran alongside him.

With that in mind,’Suicide squad’ by David Ayer may yet be published, as did ‘Justice League Snyder Cut’ on HBO Max. Here’s what the director had to say about it: “He was always a good guy. He was incredibly respectful of me. As for my cut, of course I want him to show. And I think there is a real possibility of achieving that. It just won’t be tomorrow.”

The response attracted so much attention that James Gunn responded to David Ayer on the matter ‘Suicide squad’: “I’m going to respond to what David has said about him, both on and off Twitter (yes, we communicate off Twitter; believe it or not, our DNA doesn’t start with ‘at’,” Gunn commented. I don’t confirm that version of “Suicide Squad” is in the plans, the possibility is still simmering.

Will David Ayer’s Version of ‘Suicide Squad’ Be Released?

A few weeks ago, a fan reported that he was able to watch the full version of ‘Suicide Squad’ from David Ayer’s computer, to which the director himself confessed that it was true. This means that, despite missing some retouching and special effects work, the film starring Margot Robbie, Will Smith and Jared Leto is almost complete, and could finally be released in theaters.

The truth is that James Gunn and Peter Safran’s plans to head DC Comics will be revealed next January 2023, and although they will focus on the release of films and series for the company’s next 10 years, it could be release some news on the fate of ‘Suicide Squad Yesterday Cut’, and if it has any chance of launching, at least on HBO Max.
