WILLOW is heading back to theaters with a live Q&A event ahead of the premiere of Lucasfilm’s sequel series

Producer George Luke and director RonHowardis the classic 1988 fantasy film Willow is heading back to theaters for a one-night event that will include a special live Q&A. That event will feature members of the original cast and creative team along with some new faces involved with the series.

The announcement reads: “Experience Willow (1988) back on the big screen in a special LIVE event available only in select theaters. Watch a live Q&A session of the new @DisneyPlus Original series #Willow and an exclusive preview of this magical series”.

The film will be screened in selected theaters on November 28. You can get your tickets here. The series will debut on Disney+ on November 30.

I haven’t seen Willow on the big screen since I was a kid! It will be so nice to have the opportunity to relive this film in a cinema.

In the film, “Journey to the furthest reaches of your imagination, to a land of myth and magic, where dream and reality coexist side by side… in a place that never was, a time that never was. It’s a world where a young man named Willow has an adventure that explodes beyond the bounds of his hopes and fears.

The series takes place years after the events of the original Willow movie. “It introduces all-new characters to the enchanted realm of fairy queens and two-headed Eborsisk monsters, and welcomes back its namesake hero, Willow Ufgood, played once again by the incomparable Warwick Davis. Willow leads an unlikely crew of heroes on a mission to protect Andowyne from an even greater enemy than they ever dreamed possible.

The series is also starring Erin Kellyman (Solo: A Star Wars Story, The Falcon and the Winter Soldier), Ellie Bamber (Nocturnal animals), Ruby Cruz (Easttown mare), Toni Revolori (The Grand Hotel Budapest), Dempsey Brick (The Birch), Talisa Garcia (Serve and protect, Baptist), And game of Thrones actress Rosabell Laurenti Sellers. Christian Slater he also stars in the series and we see him for the first time in this featurette.

Jonathan Kasdan (Solo) wrote the pilot episode and will act as showrunners together Wendy Mericle (Arrow).
