Disney shares a fun new clip from its new animated film STRANGE WORLDS

Disney has released a new clip for its animated sci-fi adventure film Strange world. The film was inspired by classic pulp adventure stories and follows three generations of the Clade family as they overcome their differences as they explore a strange, wonderful, and often hostile world.

Jake Gyllenhaal stars in the film and voices the character of Searcher Clade, the son of a stalwart explorer. The Clades are a legendary family of explorers and “attempt to navigate an uncharted and treacherous land alongside a motley crew that includes a mischievous blob, a three-legged dog, and a slew of ravenous creatures.” Fantastic creatures await this crew “whose differences threaten to derail their latest and by far their most crucial mission.”

The rest of the voice cast includes Dennis Quaid as Searcher’s scout father, Jaeger; Jaboukie Young-White as Searcher’s 16-year-old son Ethan, who longs for adventure; Gabrielle Union as Meridian Clade, a skilled pilot and Searcher’s partner in all things; And Lucy Liu as Callisto Mal, the fearless leader of Avalonia who leads exploration in the strange world.

In the clip, we see Searcher (Gyllenhaal), Ethan (Young-White) and Jaeger (Quaid) in a dangerous situation where they find themselves running for their lives from some crazy looking creatures. It also shows us Ethan meeting Jaeger, who is also his grandfather.

The film was directed by Don Sala (Big Hero 6, Raya and the Last Dragon), and speaking earlier about the inspiration behind the film, Hall said, “I loved reading the old pulp issues growing up. They were big adventures where a group of explorers could discover a hidden world or ancient creatures. They were a great inspiration for Strange world.”

Strange world will be released on November 23, 2022. you can watch a trailer for the film here.
