HEROES OF MIGHT AND MAGIC III: THE BOARD GAME Kickstarter is here!

The Kickstarter for the Heroes of Might and Magic III: The Board Game will start on November 15th and will run until November 29th. The game is produced by Archon Studio in close collaboration with Ubisoft’s Might & Magic IP team and it shows. Lead Game Designer and Project Manager Jakub Olekszyk has assembled a great team to bring gaming fans an exciting new board game that retains everything we love. The art direction is based on the classic images with a more modern look thanks to Tomasz Badalski and his team. Archon Studio also brought in a well-known Heroes fandom artist Iana Vengerova as lead artist of the project. The game will come with high quality sculpted one-piece miniatures that look amazing. The main game will combine deck building mechanics, area control and a dynamic card battle system. Stretch goals will lead to expansions that will include more factions, and some exclusive content will be more miniatures, cards, or perhaps an entire faction.

As a big fan of HOMM3, this project is really exciting. It was one of the first PC games not designed to be educational for kids I ever played and I’ve loved it ever since. It feels like this game was made with such love for the original game by people who understand what fans enjoyed. The artwork looks so cool and the thumbnails are also phenomenal. I will definitely be supporting this project and hope you check it out before November 29th so you can too.
