Many were surprised at the end of “No Way Home” when Tom Hardy’s Eddie Brock made a small appearance, only to leave behind a part of the MCU symbiote. Now, Marvel’s first plans to show this timeline’s Venom have been revealed, which would begin once the fourth ‘Spiderman’ movie is released.
According to a new report from Heavy Spoilers (via The Direct), rumor has it that Venom is in the background of Marvel in the MCU, which may begin its early interventions as Tom Holland and “Spiderman 4” approach. It is worth mentioning that the next arachnid film still has several years ahead, so the appearance of the symbiote still has to wait a bit.
According to the information on the site, it mentions it Marvel wanted to slowly introduce Venom into the MCU, up to the classic black suit of Tom Holland’s Spiderman symbiote. But after the release of the Sony movie starring Tom Hardy in 2018, the plans changed and now it’s not even a priority for the company after the release of ‘Spiderman 4’.
The insider claims that ‘spider man 4’ he won’t have the black Venom suit for Tom Hollandand that “they’re saving it for a movie later.” As some of you may know, Spider-Man’s symbiote suit has been a major story arc for the character, with an appearance in the Sam Raimi trilogy and multiple times in animated series and, of course, the comics.
When will Venom appear in the MCU?
The plans aren’t official yet, at least so far, so there’s no information to guarantee when Venom will appear in the MCU. However, agreements between Disney and Sony will allow Marvel to use it anytime after “Spiderman 4.” It could be a fifth installment or extend its development for its appearance during the big battle of “Avengers: Secret Wars”.
Though all the fans are eager to get to know the MCU version of the black suit, Marvel seems to be taking their time and they don’t want it to be just a few minutes appearance but rather they want to develop the symbiote in different installments of the arachnid, until to finally see him in action for the last stages of the cinematic universe.
It is worth mentioning that it was recently reported that Tom Holland would sign a deal with Marvel for a new ‘Spiderman’ trilogy, ‘Daredevil: Born Again’ for Disney+, and the two new Avengers films, which would be ‘Secret Wars’ . and “The Kang Dynasty,” which is also rumored to have Tobey Maguire and Andre Garfield in their respective roles.
