Dave Battista he would still like to play the role of Marcus Fenix in a live-action Gears of wars movie. With Netflix announcing that they are producing a live-action movie based on the hit video game, Bautista once again reminds everyone that he is stuck, loaded and ready to go!
Bautista was included as a playable character in Gears 5 a few years ago and shared an edited version of that trailer of him unpacking his armor, and that video came with the following note: “I can’t make this any easier.”
It really can’t! Bautista totally belongs in this franchise, and it would be a shame if he doesn’t end up being cast in the film. Seems like a no-brainer to choose! He had tried everything to get this role. At one point he even took a meeting for a Fast & Furious film so that he could present a Gears of war movie.
At the moment, no casting or directing details have been shared. The project is still in the early stages of development. But hopefully Netflix will actually make it happen. This casting is something fans will love to see!
