Shawn Levy (Stranger things, free boy) is in talks with Lucasfilm to develop and direct a Star Wars film project. It is reported that Levy will step in and start developing the project after he is done directing Deadpool 3 for Marvel Studios, which brings together Ryan Reynolds And Hugh Jackman.
As you can imagine, there are no details to share on Levy’s Star Wars project, but I’m curious to know more about the kind of story he’s trying to tell in the galaxy far, far, far away. He has already played with the Star Wars lightsaber element in both The Adam project and there was a scene Free boythat a lightsaber has popped up.
Levy is currently in post-production on the Netflix limited series All the light you can’t see, in which he directed all four episodes. He will also direct at least two episodes of the fifth and final season of Stranger things. Star Wars it will be his third major Disney movie.
Some of the others Star Wars projects are under development which are in various stages of development Taika Waititi, Damon Lindeloff And Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy, Rian Johnson, Kevin Feigeand maybe Patty Jenkins’ Rogue squadron eventually it will happen.
Who really knows what’s going on at Lucasfilm regarding theirs Star Wars movie? It seems they can’t get it together over there. At least our good shows for Disney + are pumping!
