Dark Horse Books and Flux House Books are bringing the English-language debut of the Mr. Mammut saga written by Kind Matt with art Jean Denis Pendanx. The hard cover will include the first two volumes of the graphic novel noir. Here is the official synopsis:
Mr. Mammoth has solved every case he has had – a perfect record. And he’s the kind of person you don’t forget: a seven-foot-tall pacifist, covered from head to toe in an impressive collection of scars he refuses to talk about.
But it could lose the advantage. This new case leaves him perplexed and his obsession with a soap opera actress may just be … unhealthy. Mister Mammoth plays with the tropes of detective fiction but ultimately turns everything upside down.
I think this really sounds like a really interesting story. The main character feels a bit like some kind of Batman, but obviously less prone to punching. You can pick up your copy in comic shops on March 29, 2023 and in bookstores on April 11, 2023.
