“There comes a time when everything explodes”: Yalitza Aparicio explains her role in ‘Mujeres Asesinas’

Through the VIX + screen, the successful Mexican series “Mujeres Asesinas” will be back starting next Friday, November 4th with a new version, which includes Yalitza Aparicio as one of the protagonists of the story and in a media interview on the red carpet of the premiere, she confessed some details about her experience in this production.

Recognized around the world after her famous debut in Alfonso Cuarón’s ‘ROME’ on Netflix, Yalitza Aparicio has built a career in the world of film and television and this 2022 returns to the small screen, this time with VIX + to introduce the story from Rocío “La Insomne”, one of the killer women of the new version of this Mexican series.

Aparicio confessed that Rocío “was an emotional character (difficult to) understand what was happening to her, but he also reflected on this situation” and took the opportunity to talk about mental health and the importance of resorting to a psychologist to have a good stability in the area of ​​emotions.

As women we have little support or it is always believed that we are the breadwinner of the family and that we shouldn’t bow down, but we are human beings. We need to be heard, to be understood, we also have the right to make mistakes ”.

On the other hand, the Mexican actress also said: “Something I understand about my character is that there are little things that we let go, but those little things add up to the point that they increase and there comes a time when everything explodes and unfortunately they make decisions right now, ”referring to the story of Rocío, his character in the series. But he did not give details on what will happen with this new role in his career.

As in the past with the first Mexican version of ‘Murderous women’, each chapter will have a different protagonist, so Yalitza Aparicio will only appear in one chapter of the story, however this is one of the most anticipated by fans, thanks to the fame that the Mexican actress has achieved.
