On September 16, Netflix premiered the second season of “Destiny: The Winx Saga”. In these new chapters, the series left the door open for a third season and fans were eager for it. However, the famous American producer has decided that this will not be the case and has canceled the title starring Abigail Cowen (“Redeemer Love”).

The news was confirmed by showrunner of the series, Brian Young. Through his Instagram account, he published an exciting text in which he announced the decision made by Netflix to the followers of the series: “Hi everyone! It’s not fun news to share, but Netflix has decided not to move forward with the third season of “Destiny: The Winx Saga”.”.

“It’s particularly difficult because I know how many of you have enjoyed this season. It’s a good thing that while it breaks my heart, it’s a good thing after all. I am very proud of everyone who worked on the series and very happy that we were able to tell the stories we have told.. Our cast and crew worked very hard to create this world and these characters. I am grateful for each of them and for all of you for the vision. It has been an incredible four years. I hope we will meet again in the future”wrote the director.

“Destiny: The Winx Saga” has been a soft spot for some viewers due to its links to “Winx Club”the famous children’s animation series created by the Italian Iginio Straffi.

This new live-action adaptation included performances by Danny Griffin (“The Gentlemen: The Lords of the Mafia”), Hannah van der Westhuysen (“Sandman”), Elisha Applebaum (“No Reasons”), Freddie Thorp (“Overdrive”) ), Precious Mustapha (“Don’t Talk to Strangers”) and Eliot Salt (“Normal People”), among others.
