Director Cameron Crowe he had a wonderful film career making fantastic movies like Say Anything, Jerry Maguire, almost famous, and more. Well, the writer and director is absolutely ready to make a Marvel movie and, in an interview with Rolling Stone, Crowe shared that he would be ready to make a movie based on the X-Men character Dazzler!
During the interview, he said, “Throw me a Dazzler movie! Let’s do it.” A movie about the pop star influenced by Marvel’s music sounds perfect for Crowe! If he ever made a Marvel movie, yeah … Dazzler would be perfect for him.
As for who Cameron might choose for the role, after being kicked out of some fan casting names like Rihanna, Dua Lipa, Taylor SwiftAnd Beyoncé, there was a name that jumped at him. He said: “I feel Dua Lipa for this”. He added: “I think it’s cool. Making such a film could be a blast. You can have character development and all those deep things and have a show too. You can do it. And he’s heading there, of course.
I’d love to see Cameron do a Dazzling movie for Marvel! I bet he would make a great Marvel movie with that character. Songwriter Dia Lipa also seems like an interesting choice for the role.
Dazzler is a mutant with the ability to transduce sound into light, which often forces her into a reluctant superheroism. She is also a very gifted singer and performer, hence her reservations of being a superhero.
I have no idea if Crowe will ever make a Dazzler movie with Marvel, but is that something you want to see?
