The ultra bloody Terrified 2 has been the talk of the town in recent times. Horror fans love it and audience members were so moved by the film that they passed out and vomit during the screenings! If you’ve seen the movie, it’s not hard to see why. This movie is not for the picky, but hardcore horror fans love it and there has been a huge positive response from the horror community.
The first two films were written and directed by Damiano Leonand when he started doing it Terrifying travel, his plan was to do a trilogy. He told / Film last month:
“Right now, I just want to tell a solid story where it has a nice arc for my heroes, my villains, it’s complete. So a three is, I can almost guarantee a part three. Later? We’ll see if there’s anything left. and if fans continue to accept this character and this franchise. “
Well, now it looks like the story of that third movie of his has gotten so big that he might have to split it into two separate films! During a recent interview with Variety, the director shared the following update that is sure to make Terrifier fans happy:
“I have pretty much the whole treatment ready for ‘Part 3’, but it’s getting so big that it could potentially split into ‘Part 4’ because I wouldn’t want to make another 2 hour 20 minute movie. So” I’ll see. “
I mean, with the hype train for Terrified 2 moving at full speed, it might be smart to extend the franchise to two more films. Not only will Leon tell his full story with two films, but there is also more money to be made. One thing the director doesn’t want to do is wear out his welcome:
“My fear is that eventually the well will dry up, we will end up jumping the shark, there will be nothing more to say with this character. It happens with a lot of franchises that I’m still a huge fan of. I’ve seen all of this “Part 10” and “Part 13”, but sometimes they could really ruin the whole franchise. For them whether they run out or don’t have this satisfying story arc or the movie goes in another direction, it could be devastating for your franchise overall. I want to try to avoid it. “
Terrified 2 once again has Art the Clown up to its old tricks. After his grisly disappearance in the first film, a sinister presence brought Art back to life to keep Miles County residents in check. On Halloween night, he returns to the unassuming town and sets his sights on a new prey: a teenager and her little brother, played by Lauren La Vera And Elliott Fullamrespectively.
The film marks the fifth screen appearance of Art the Clown. Originally created for a couple of low-budget shorts, the character made his feature film debut in the 2013 blockbuster Leone. Eve of all gifts. His iconic looks, plus the personality and humor he exudes, have forever changed the way we look at killer clowns. The sadistic clown has become a cult horror icon with various pop culture merchandising companies selling masks, costumes, enamel pins, air fresheners, stickers, and even ugly Christmas sweaters.
What are your thoughts on the future of the Terrifying franchise !? Can you handle the gory madness of two more movies !?
