Kelly Marcelwriter and producer of the first two Poison film, is intended for directing Poison 3in which Tom Hardy will resume his role. Marcel will also write the script and produce the film alongside Hardy, Avi Arad, Matt Tolmach, Amy PasqualeAnd Hutch Parker.
I’m not the biggest fan of the Venom franchise and thought the sequel was a complete mess. But there are Marvel fans out there enjoying themselves and I guess they can’t wait to see Hardy’s Venom story continue with a third movie.
There are no plot details to share Poison 3but it will mean that Venom will have to save the day again when a new villain emerges and threatens the world.
Marcel seems like a good choice for the director as she has been with the franchise from the very beginning and played a huge role in charting Venom’s journey to the big screen. Deadline also says that “Hardy and Marcel have always been on the same line when it comes to shaping the story of Venom and that by going to the final chapter the two were keeping up with the direction in which they wanted this final chapter to go.”
