“Jack Ryan” releases a first trailer for its third season with John Krasinski’s spy on the run

Jack Ryan is a fugitive in the first trailer of the upcoming eponymous series with John Krasinski. In the next few episodes, said CIA agent alone pursues an international criminal organization, which only complicates the life of this analyst-turned-man. At least that’s what the trailer released by Amazon Prime Video suggests, in which it is confirmed that the plot of the next episodes will be built around a nuclear threat.

The trailer for the third season of ‘Jack Ryan’ presents the conflict that Jack will face: some dangerous Russian oligarchs who decide to mark territory with a nuclear attack. That said, the US government, which does not want to create a diplomatic incident with Russia, orders the CIA to resign. However, Jack, aware that he has to break some rules to do the right thing, he throws himself into an attempt to bring order, becoming a priority target for his agency. Accompanying the return of Krasinski, We also see Wendell Pierce as James Greer and Michael Kelly as Mike November.. Together with these, joining the cast as the protagonists of the next chapters, we will see Nina Hoss in the role of Alena Kovac and Betty Gabriel in the role of Elizabeth Wright. A spin-off is in progress

Just as Deadline confirmed that the fourth season of “Jack Ryan” will be the last, North American media said it announced that Prime Video anda would be working on a spin-off in which Krasinski would not participate. The new series would be led by Michael Peña in the skin of another popular character from Tom Clancy’s novels. Peña would have played Domingo ‘Ding’ Chavez, pillar of the aforementioned author’s ‘Rainbow Six’ series.

This spin-off would not be the first to be born thanks to the success of ‘Jack Ryan’, as it comes after the movie ‘No Regrets’, a film centered around another Clancy character, John Clark (Michael B. Jordan), of which a follow-up is expected that has not yet been given the go-ahead. Before the new chapters of ‘Jack Ryan’ arrive, which returns to Prime Video on December 21st.
