The vulgar animated comedy of 2016 Sausage Festival is getting a spin-off of the series on Amazon. The film was written by Seth Rogen, Kyle Hunter, Ariel ShaffirAnd Evan Goldbergand was based on a story by Rogen, Goldberg and Jonah Hill.
The new spin-off series is called Sausage Party: Foodtopiaand Rogen is returning to voice the main character, along with returning castmates Michele Cera, Kristen Wiig, David KrumholtzAnd Edward Norton. New voice actors include Yassir Lester, Sam Richardson, Will ForteAnd Natasha Rothwell.
Rogen and Goldberg released a joint statement on the project, stating:
“Film was an art form superior to television and we humbly reached the pinnacle of what can be achieved with film in our amazing work, Sausage Party. But now that film is completely dead and TV is the king for. always in entertainment, we decided to continue our culinary crew’s epic adventures in the soon-to-be legendary television masterpiece Sausage Party: Foodtopia. It’s all hearted, double puns and triples food-on-food sex. other words, that’s exactly what the world needs right now. ”
