I can finally talk about this! I got the details of the story for Marvel Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special for a while now, but now that the trailer has been released, I can finally talk about it!
Until now, no story details have been released for the Christmas special, but James Gunn he directed it, and he is the protagonist Chris Pratt like Peter Quill / Star-Lord, Dave Battista like Drax, vin Diesel like Groot, Bradley Cooper like Rocket, Pom Clementeeff like Mantis, Sean Gunn like Kraglin, and Zoe Saldaña like Gamora.
In the film, Star-Lord feels very low about his situation with Gamora. So to help cheer him up, Drax and Mantis head to Earth to bring Peter Quill back the perfect gift to cheer him up! Something he will never forget! That gift is Quill’s favorite actor of all time … Kevin Bacon!
And yes, Kevin Bacon is in the special! Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special it looks like it will be a blast and I love the story it will tell!
I’ve included the leaked trailer below, but I have no idea how long it’ll stay active before Disney takes it off. But at least now you know the details of the story!
