The GIGER comic series gets the series adaptation from Geoff Johns and Justin Simien

Image Bestselling Comic Series Geigercreated by Geoff Johns And Gary Frankis intended to be adapted as a series. Justin Simien (Dear Whites, The haunted palace) is set to direct.

The story is set in the year 2050 and “centers on a radioactive family man named Tariq Geiger who spends his days and nights doing whatever it takes to protect the fallout shelter that houses his family. When Geiger battles a group of violent scavengers, he faces the wrath of the criminal empire they are connected to.

Johns will executive produce the series, write the pilot and serve as showrunner together Jamie Iracleanos for Crazy Ghost and Gary Frank. The project is also executive produced by Kyle Laursenand Simien, who recently signed a three-year deal with Paramount Television Studios, via Simien’s production company Culture Machine.
