Amazon has released a teaser trailer for an interesting new dark comedy chef series titled mammals. The series stars James Corden as a Michelin-starred chef whose world implodes when he uncovers shocking secrets about his pregnant wife.
The series was created by Jez Butterworth (Fair play, Edge of tomorrow, To go up, Black Mass, Spectrum, Ford versus Ferrari, Flag Day), who talked about the show, saying, “It’s a relationship comedy that doesn’t really discuss relationships at any point. It’s more like a thriller, and I think most relationships end up as crime scenes, right? So? I guess if you like James and Sally’s work, you should watch it. ”
In the series, “revelations and secrets come to light and the intricacies of modern marriage and fidelity are exposed. In a world of eight billion, what happens after finding “the one”? Can we stay true to the promises we strive to keep when, after all, we’re not all just mammals? “
The series is also the protagonist Sally Hawkins, Meila Kreiling, Colin Morgan, Henry Lloyd-HughesAnd Samuel Anderson. It looks like it could be a solid series worth checking out!
Amazon will release mammals on Prime Video starting November 11, 2022.
