Whenever Halloween season comes, there are several horror movies that start grabbing attention because it seems like one has to be more brutal than the last. And this year it came true, because the follow-up to ‘Terrifier’ caused viewers to faint and vomit, although the director believes the reaction was exaggerated, as the first part already warned of its gory content.

The first part of ‘terrier’ it was already a gory film, which is an extremely gory and brutal story about Art, a murderous clown, similar to Stephen King, but who ends up with his victims in the most visceral way possible. As expected, the sequel raised the bar of what the original installment had shown, for Damien Leone, this was reason enough to go, or not, to see his film in theaters.

Several people took to Twitter to demonstrate their reaction to watching the horror movie and now, during an interview with Entertainment News, Damien Leone talks about the reaction to ‘terrier 2’: “I don’t want people to pass out or that they feel pain during the film, but it’s surreal ”.

Damien Leone’s director talks about a brutal moment in the first part that predicted things would get worse in the sequel: “There’s a notorious murder scene, a scene with a saw. If you’ve seen Terriefier 1 before this, you knew what you were getting yourself into”Said the director. The sequel, in addition to catching some by surprise, also had an impact that managed to sneak into the top 10 of the movies with the best opening weekend at the box office in the United States.

Will Terrifier 2 be released in Mexico and Latin America?

With grossing over $ 1 million, Damien Leone’s horror film was a hit, surpassing the $ 250,000 investment it originally had. Despite the large numbers, “Terifier 2” is not known whether it will be released in Mexico or Latin America. At the moment Cinedigm, nor Leone have not commented, and it remains an exclusive of the United States.

Anyway, Leone tells fans who want to see his new story: “Here’s the thing, it’s called Terrifier 2, you should probably watch Terrifier 1 first (see the new one).” Also, he explains that they wanted to complete the saw scene from the first part: “We tried to rival that scene. [en la nueva película] because the really supportive fan base we’ve had all this time, that really started putting Art on a pedestal. ”

Leone closes by assuring that there may be more episodes of the saga in the future: “Not to give away spoilers, but we have a really good twisted cliffhanger at the end of the second part,” says the director. “There’s a lot more to explore with Art the Clown for sure.” “Terifier 2” is available in US cinemas.
