A trailer for the intense drama has been released Women talkinghero Rooney Mara, Claire Foy, Frances McDormand, Jessie BuckleyAnd Ben Wishaw. The film is directed by Sarah Polley from a screenplay he adapted based on the novel by Miriam Toews.
The story is loosely based on the true story of 2011, in which seven men from an ultra-conservative Mennonite colony in Bolivia (populated by descendants of Eastern Europeans who settled there in 1874) were convicted of drugs and serial rape of over 100 women. from their community.
