Despite the fact that many believed that Daredevil’s return to the Marvel Cinematic Universe was impossible, the Devil of Hell’s Kitchen is back, and with as many appearances as possible. However, luck isn’t the same for Deborah Ann Woll, who believes Karen Page may not be for the new series that will restart the character’s story on Disney +.

After “She-Hulk” and “Echo”, Matt Murdock will have his series with “Daredevil: Born again’ for Disney+, of which it has been confirmed that Charlie Cox and Wilson D’Onofrio return in their respective characters seen in the history of Netflix. But now, Deborah Ann Woll has stepped out to clear up rumors of her returning as Karen Page to Marvel.

On his Twitter account, Deborah Ann Woll talked about a possible return as Karen Page ‘Daredevil: Born again’on Disney + (via The Direct), mentioning that Marvel “didn’t tell me”. Which means he hasn’t received a reboot call at this point, however, production will start next year and they expect Kevin Feige and the company to have some surprises in store.

The direct himself states that if Deborah Ann Woll didn’t get the call from Marvel, then it is very likely that it never will. At the moment, it is unknown how much weight Netflix’s story will have in “Daredevil: Born Again”, but it has been considered a reboot and Matt Murdock’s appearance in the MCU makes it clear that it is the same character from the past.

What could the story of “Daredevil: Born Again” be about?

So far, there are rumors of Elden Henson returning as Foggy Nelson, Jon Bernthal as the Punisher, Kristen Rytter as Jessica Jones and Deborah Ann Woll as Karen Page. And in case “Daredevil: Born Again” is a sequel, they’ll need to figure out how Foggy, Karen and Matt were creating their new law firm for Disney +.

Someone will know that ‘Born Again’ comes from the story of the same name written by Frank Miller, which has become one of the most important comics in history, and where it is told how Karen Page sells the secret of who Daredevil really is to Kingpin, to obtain drugs . However, given the events of the MCU, things should change a lot in the reboot.

It should be made clear that Deborah Ann Woll may be hiding the truth, and right now she is already part of ‘Daredevil: Born Again’, because it wouldn’t be the first time someone lies to keep the secret, as Andrew Garfield has already done in Spider. -Man: No Way Home. “Born Again” and its 18 episodes will premiere in the first of 2024.
