The first trailer for “Super Mario Bros .: The Movie”, the most anticipated movie by fans of the legendary video game, is now available. There were different opinions and comments on the networks, some in accord with the actor’s work, but the majority seemed to denote that they were not thrilled with the voice of the “Guardians of the Galaxy” actor as the great hero of Nintendo. Many users have stated that the voice of the actor as Mario is very similar to his own, that is, Pratt’s interpretation would not contribute much, as it does not differ from his own voice.
During the aforementioned Variety interview, the actor also commented: “It’s an animated voice narrative. It’s not a live action movie. I’m not going to be in a plumber’s suit running around. How is Mario’s voice in other countries?
While many aren’t exactly thrilled with the original release, the trailer doesn’t seem to have disappointed almost anyone. Furthermore, Mario’s voice in other countries was generally more popular than Pratt’s, as in the case of French dubbing. Users have commented on the networks that the voice of the French voice actor corresponds much more to the original Mario, played by Charles Martinet.
