EA and Koei Tecmo unveil the mysterious monster hunting game: WILD HEARTS

In early September, EA, Koei Tecmo, and Omega Force announced they were working together on a new AAA hunting game. That game was recently revealed Wild hearts, a new monster hunting game inspired by feudal Japan. The team says it’s a “new type of hunting game with unique crafting mechanics”. I’m very curious to find out more about what they might be. Players will find themselves in Azuma where they will have to hunt down Kemono in an attempt to create balance in the world. Hunters can go alone or team up with up to two friends for cooperative fun. One feature that I’m always a big fan of is crossplay! Also, Wild hearts features voiceovers in six languages: English, French, German, Italian, Japanese and Spanish.

WILD HEARTS takes place in Azuma, a fantastic landscape inspired by feudal Japan, now invaded by the peaceful Kemono, which alters their environment at the cost of the citizens’ lives. The Kemono range goes from plant-infused squirrels to the massive Kingtusk boar. After a terrible fight with the winter wolf Deathstalker, players become carriers of a life-sustaining technology and are forced to restore balance throughout the region.

We have paid great attention to designing our Karakuri to suit combat and are thrilled that players are using these powerful mechanics to battle giant beasts and traverse the world.

Fans will be able to hunt Kemono in the world of Azuma on February 17, 2023. Wild hearts will be available on PC (via Epic Games Store, Origin and Steam), PS5 and Xbox Series X | S with an MSRP of $ 69.99.
