Skullcandy is looking to return to the world of gaming headsets. Therefore, they announced the brand new SLYR, SLYR Pro and PLYR cross-platform gaming headsets ranging from $ 59.99 to 129.99. Building the headphone hype, Jason Luthman from Skullcandy said:

Everyone knows that Skullcandy offers a premium sound experience and getting back to gaming is something our fans have been asking for for years – we’re thrilled to be releasing our new collection of cross-platform games into the wild. As gamers will attest, great audio, seamless communication and comfort are absolutely crucial. From lighting unique shades with custom audio profiles, to performing crystal clear player-to-player communications, we’ve packed PLYR, SLYR Pro, and SLYR with the must-have technologies gamers demand for fully immersive gameplay.

Starting at the entry level with SLYR, fans can expect to find a two-way detachable boom microphone for focused vocal pickup for clarity in multiplayer games. This wired headset is advertised as durable, lightweight and comfortable with memory foam ear cushions wrapped in breathable, breathable material. It also features easy-to-reach mute and volume controls for quick adjustments on the fly. To top it all off, it offers Skullcandy Supreme Sound which is “a unique audio tuning process that allows users to maximize the depth and detail of each sound”. The SLYR has an MSRP of $ 59.99.

Next up is SLYR Pro which has an MSRP of $ 99.99. This features all the same features as the SLYR with more crammed and a slightly redesigned headband. Added features include the use of Skull-HQ software on PC, built-in tile detection technology, up to 24 hours of battery life + fast charging allowing for better sound perception and clear voice, smart microphone and controls advanced audio via software. Advanced Sound Perception (ESP) tunes audio drivers to match each specific user’s hearing via an innovative hearing test. The clear voice smart microphone uses AI-based technology to remove unwanted background noise and make your communication even clearer.

Finally, the PLYR headset is the wireless headset and has an MSRP of $ 129.99. This has all the same features as the SLYR Pro but with Bluetooth 5.2 technology for wireless use and an adjustable suspension headband.
