Crunchyroll announced that the films Fruit basket -prelude- And Fairy Tail: Dragon Cry will arrive on the streaming service both subtitled and dubbed on 6 October. Fruit basket -prelude- enjoyed a special ride in cinemas over the summer and documents the story of Katsuya and Kyoko, Tohru’s parents acting in Fruit basket. Unfortunately, I didn’t live close enough to an airing theater to see it, so I’m thrilled to be able to stream it as soon as Fruit basket is one of my favorite anime. Fairy Tail: Dragon Cry premiered in theaters in 2017 and features everyone’s favorite group of disorganized wizards racing to retrieve a stolen magic staff that is said to possess the power to destroy the world. I’m not totally taken Tale yet, but it’s a really fun anime if you haven’t seen it yet.
