Halloween is a great holiday designed so well to align with many children’s interests, dress up to pretend and eat candy. But not all children can easily dress like others. Fortunately, Disney has come out with more adaptive role-playing costumes of some of their beloved characters so that kids with special needs can join in the fun just as easily as kids who don’t have those needs. New this year are Jasmine, Woody and Buzz Lightyear. Of those Buzz is definitely my favorite with the spaceship designed to accommodate a wheelchair. Without a doubt my favorite of their overall lineup is the Cinderella coach. Such a simple concept but it is executed so well. You can browse the entire collection of adaptive costumes here. Which one is your favorite?
