The next horror movie Terrified 2 caused quite a stir in the horror movie community. I got a lot of praise for the film and it looks like it’s a must for the Halloween season. If you haven’t seen the brutal trailer yet, you can check it out here.
We have a new trailer for you to watch called “All The Hype”, and it collects reviews from critics around the world who have seen the film who are raving about it.
The film is based on Cinedigm, Bloody Disgusting and SCREAMBOX, and was written and directed by Damiano Leone (Eve of all gifts). David Howard Thornton is back as the demonic assassin, Art the Clown. He is also the protagonist Lauren La Vera like Siena, Samantha Scaffidi who will reprise her role as Victoria Heyes and horror icon Happy Rose (Camp for sleeping).
Terrified 2 once again has Art the Clown up to its old tricks. After his grisly disappearance in the first film, a sinister presence brought Art back to life to keep Miles County residents in check. On Halloween night, he returns to the unassuming town and sets his sights on new prey: a teenager and her little brother, played by LaVera and Elliott Fullamrespectively.
The film marks the fifth screen appearance of Art the Clown. Originally created for a couple of low-budget shorts, the character made his feature film debut in the 2013 blockbuster Leone. Eve of all gifts. His iconic looks, plus the personality and humor he exudes, have forever changed the way we look at killer clowns. The sadistic clown has become a cult horror icon with various pop culture merchandising companies selling masks, costumes, enamel pins, air fresheners, stickers, and even ugly Christmas sweaters.
In the clip shared by Rue Morgue, Sienna’s brother finds a link between recent Art the Clown sightings and last year’s Miles County Halloween Massacre and tells Sienna that he thinks something bad will happen.
Speaking of the film Leone said: “The Terrifying the team and its incredible fan base have always wholeheartedly believed in the franchise. After all, our goal was to create a horror film that pushed the boundaries, fresh but old-fashioned and insane as hell. After three arduous years of production, a global pandemic and endless liters of blood, I am honored and excited to finally publish Terrified 2 in theaters. I know that fans of this franchise, and the genre in general, will eat Art the Clown in all his blood-soaked glory. “
Terrified 2 will be released in cinemas nationwide on 6 October 2022.
