Finn Jones wants to return as Iron Fist to UCM in hypothetical “Heroes for Hire” series

Ever since Marvel Studios recovered the rights to the characters that belonged to 20th Century Fox and Netflix, and especially since the doors of the Multiverse have opened wide, heroes from other franchises gradually appeared in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Andrew Garfield and Tobey Maguire’s triumphant return of Spideys, Daredevil in ‘Spider-Man: No Way Home’, ‘She-Hulk: Lawyer She-Hulk’ and soon in his reboot series, ‘Daredevil: Born Again’, Wilson Fisk in ‘Hawkeye’ or Black Bolt and Charles Xavier in ‘Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness’. The possibilities are endless and fans are wondering what other old acquaintances we will encounter in the MCU.

Obviously, the arrival of Matt Murdock, played by Charlie Cox, and Kingpin (Vincent D’Onofrio) in the MCU raises the question of whether we will see the other Defenders and associated characters in any title of the saga. There has been a lot of speculation about the return of Krysten Ritter as Jessica Jones, Mike Colter as Luke Cage or Jon Bernthal as the Punisher, but nothing is official at the moment. As for Iron Fist, the character wasn’t exactly a fan favorite, but nonetheless, Finn Jones did not hesitate to express his desire to play Danny Rand again in the future.

In an interview with ComicBook.com, the English actor said he would love to come back, suggesting the comic “Heroes for Hire”, in which Iron Fist and Luke Cage form a tandem, as the perfect excuse to do so: “I would love to continue playing that character. I think there is a lot of room to grow. Personally, I would love to see that reintroduction of the character in something like a ‘Heroes for Hire’ series. I think it would be a dynamic and fun way to go back. Introducing those characters I really enjoyed working with Mike [Colter] and I really enjoyed the on-screen chemistry between Danny and Luke. It’s a very interesting creative opportunity for that series. I’d love to pick him up and move on with the character to create the best possible version of Iron Fist. “.

Of course, the ground is set for the reappearance of Danny Rand and Luke Cage in the future and hopefully to attend another Defenders meeting in a second chance to atone for the Netflix crossover, which proved to be a disappointment for many. Of course, “Iron Fist” is arguably one of the worst series associated with Marvel, as well as receiving criticism for not taking the opportunity to hire an Asian actor to play Iron Fist.
