Netflix has released the first preview trailer for the second season of the popular fantasy series Shadow and Bones. This first season of this show has been a really good one and it looks like there are some exciting and adventurous things we have to look forward to in the new season!
The series is based on that of Leigh Bardugo Grishaverse novels and the story is set in “a war-torn world and centers on the orphan and humble soldier Alina Starkov as she unleashes an extraordinary power that could be the key to liberating her country from the monstrous threat of Shadow Fold, even if she finds herself Torn by everything she knows to train as part of the Grisha, an elite army of magical soldiers. Struggling to grab her powers while avoiding a band of charismatic criminals to take her, Alina discovers that allies and enemies could be the same and that nothing in the sumptuous world is what it seems.
The second season includes the return of Jesse Mei Li like Alina, Archie Renaux like Mal, Freddy Carter like Kaz Brekker, Amita Suman like Inej Ghafa, Kit Young like Jesper, Ben Barnes such as Darkling, and Zoe Wanamaker like Baghra. They will be joined by Lewis Tan (Mortal combat) like Tolya Yul-Bataar, Anna Leong Brophy (Traces) as Tamar Kir-Bataar, Patrick Gibson (The OA) such as Nikolai Lantsov, e Jack Wolfe (The sorcerer) as Wylan Hendriks.
The Shadow and Bones the series will return in 2023.
