Our favorite sorcerer wouldn’t have missed this year’s Tudum. Henry Cavill attended Netflix’s virtual event with a very juicy news about the third season of ‘The Witcher’. This is the first poster for the return of the series based on the novels by Andrzej Sapkowski. And it comes with an interesting detail.
The streaming platform announces it episodes of the third season will be released in the summer of 2023. Geralt de Rivia thus abandons the cold winter and prepares for a summer return a year and a half after seeing the second season.

The poster also marks problems, with the wolf emblem broken into pieces. In this new episode we will finally have Geralt, Ciri (Freya Allan) and Yennefer (Anya Chalotra) together. Ciri will continue to be the object of desire for half the continent and, while they escape, Yennefer will take care of training his magical abilities. The season will be based on “Time of Hate”, the fourth volume.
In addition to the usual characters from the series, in the third season we will welcome Robbie Amell as Gallatin, Meng’er Zhang as MilvaHugh Skinner as Prince Radovid and Christell Elwin as Mistle.
Christmas gift
But just because there won’t be “The Witcher” this December doesn’t mean we won’t be returning to the continent this year. Netflix revealed to Tudum that December 25 will bring us “The Witcher: The Origin of Blood” as a Christmas present, the long-awaited prequel starring Sophia Brown, Laurence O’Fuarain and Michelle Yeoh. We also have a poster.
“The Witcher: The Origin of Blood” takes place 1,200 years before the events of the main series.. It will tell the origin of the first sorcerer and the conjunction of the spheres through which the worlds of men, elves and monsters ended up uniting. It will be a six-episode miniseries.
