The thing you need to remember about the director James Cameron he’s the guy who knows how to make a big following. Every sequel he has made has been as great as Aliens And Terminator 2 and after watching about 15 minutes of 3D footage at Disney’s D23 Expo, I’m completely thrilled with Avatar: The way of water! Chances are good that the sequel is better than the first movie.
One thing Cameron made sure not to do was create a predictable sequel. She wanted to make a sequel that would take audiences on an unexpected journey and subvert their expectations. During an interview with IGN, the director said:
“I guarantee you won’t be able to predict it. What people hate most is going to a movie and saying ‘oh … predictable.’ This is not predictable, I don’t think so. I challenge anyone to predict where this story will end. “
I love! I have my thoughts on how the film is going to turn out and I would love nothing more than for The way of water do something completely different from what I think it will be. I love the movies Cameron has made and I think you can always bet on Cameron to deliver a great and fun cinematic experience.
The sequel is set more than a decade after the events of the first film. “He begins to tell the story of the Sully family (Jake, Neytiri and their children), the problems that follow them, the lengths they go to protect each other, the battles they fight to stay alive and the tragedies they face.”
The movie stars Zoe Saldana, Sam Worthington, Sigourney Weaver, Stefano Lang, Curtis cliff, Joel David Moore, CCH Ponder, Edie Falco, Jemaine ClementeAnd Kate Winslet.
Avatar: The way of water will be released in theaters on December 14, 2022.
