M. Night Shyamalan is back with his new movie after “Time”. His new mystery thriller is called ‘Knock on the door’ and will hit theaters next February. To whet your appetite, Universal Pictures has already released its first trailer, very disturbing and full of unknowns. Knock Knock!
‘Knock on the Door’ is based on ‘The Cabin at the End of the World’, a novel written by Paul Tremblay. Shyamalan himself wrote the script for this story centered on a couple, Jonathan Groff and Ben Aldrige, who travel with their daughter (Kristen Cui) on vacation in a cabin in the woods. One day they receive an unexpected and rather disturbing visit from four people. (Dave Bautista, Rupert Grint, Nikki Amuka-Bird and Abby Quinn), who take them hostage and warn them that salvation from the apocalypse depends on them and the decisions they make.

The director explained that this film will follow in the footsteps of his latest projects, which mix terror, suspense and paranoia, such as “Time” or “Servant”. In early June he tweeted that the movie “It changed him as a person and as an artist”. “Knock on the door” hits Spanish cinemas on February 3, 2023.
The farewell of ‘Servo’
Shyamalan has been extremely busy this summer. After finishing with “Knock on the Door”, he began working on the fourth and final season of “Servant” for Apple TV +. In the latter series of chapters he will continue as executive producer and director of some of the episodes that will try to close (or not) the plots of the Turners (Lauren Ambrose and Toby Kebbell) and their nanny Leanne (Nell Tiger Free). Shyamalan promises another “surprising turn” for the grand finale of one of the longest-running titles on Apple’s streaming platform, which will say goodbye early next year.
