Marvel’s WEREWOLF BY NIGHT director Michael Giacchino talks about his speech to Kevin Feige

One of the things that premiered at the Disney D23 convention this year was Marvel’s upcoming Halloween special, Werewolf at night, which debuts on Disney + next month. The special event was directed by Michele Giacchinowho created the soundtracks of films such as On, Doctor Strange in the multiverse of madness, Spider-Man: There is no way to go homeAnd The Batmanand was written by Pietro Cameron (Knight of the Moon) And Heather Quinn (Hawk eye).

The trailer makes it look like it’s going to be fun to watch this Halloween season, but it felt like some sort of property out there to take to Marvel. Also the head of the MCU Kevin Feige agree! In a recent interview at D23 Expo, Giacchino said ScreenRant (via The Direct):

“It was fun because [Kevin Feige] he was talking to me and he said, ‘So what would you like to do?’ And I was like, ‘I want to do Werewolf by Night’, and he looked at me like, ‘Really? Do you really like it? Werewolf- ‘I’m like,’ Yeah, that’s what I want. ‘ He was like, ‘Wow. Okay okay. Let’s talk about that. ‘ And the conversation went on, and then, and then, and here we are now. “

While Giacchino has directed short films in the past, Werewolf at night is officially his Marvel directorial debut. He has worked both as a director and as a composer on the special, and it seems like it was a dream come true for him. Werewolf at night will arrive on Disney + on October 7th. You can not wait?
