Netflix has released a full trailer for the upcoming horror series The midnight clubwhich comes from the manufacturer Mike Flanagan (The Haunting of Hill House, Midnight Mass). I love the stories Flanagan tells and it looks like it’s going to be a fantastic and spooky show for horror fans.
The project is based on the novels of Cristoforo Luccio, and the story centers on a group of terminally ill adolescents. The story is set in Rotterdam Home, a hospice for these teenagers. Eight patients gather every night at midnight to tell each other stories and make a pact that the next of them to die will give the group a sign from the other side.
Flanagan adapted the series together Lia Fong (Once upon a time), and Flanagan directed some episodes. Other directors include Emmanuel Osei-Kuffour (Black box), Axel Carolyn (Bly Manor, Creepshow), Viet Nguyen (The terrifying adventures of Sabrina), Morgan begs (Once upon a time), And Michele Fimognari (To all the boys: always and forever)
Speaking earlier on the series and Pike’s work, Flanagan said, “One of the great things we thought was that younger viewers could handle their fears. He wrote some pretty advanced stuff for his younger readers, and it was not at all uncommon for his teenage characters to die, quite shockingly. His books were full of things that I found really exciting, thrilling and dark. So I became a bit of a drug addict. “
The series is the protagonist Adia, Igby Rigney, Ruth Codd, William Chris Summer, Aya Furukawa, Annarah ShephardAnd Sauriyan Sapkota. They are joined by Zach Gilford, Samantha SloyanAnd Matt Biedelwith A nightmare on Elm Street ‘S. Heather Langenkampwho will play the enigmatic doctor who runs the children’s home.
