We have already crossed the equator of ‘She-Hulk: Lawyer Hulka’, after the premiere last week of its fifth episode (of 9). The series starring Tatiana Maslany continues to divide the audience, with fans of this new comic and the light-hearted Marvel proposition and detractors disagreeing with her sense of humor or less serious premise about her. However, what many have agreed on is points out its post-credits scenes as one of the best aspects of the series.
In Marvel Studios lore, every episode of “She-Hulk” included a final gag after the credits, at least until its fifth week ended the series. After four episodes with a post-credits scene, Chapter 5, titled (brilliantly) ‘Malota, Greenish and, in Jeans, a Goddess’, has left us with honey on our lips. What happened? There was an extra scene, but was it cut? Wouldn’t all chapters have one?

Jessica Gao, writer and producer of “She-Hulk”, recently made it clear in an interview with TVLine that “not all episodes have a post-credits scene”, thus disproving the belief that in fact the 9 would have that latest comic auction that Marvel has accustomed us to. Speaking to the same medium, Anu Valia, director of episodes 5, 6 and 7, confirmed this, also clarifying that there was never any intention of recording Josh Segarra and Ginger Gonzaga while shopping, as can be seen in one of the illustrations of the credits.
In the image in question we see Pug and Nikki, Jen Walters’ law companions, in a sneakers store, surrounded by themed shoes with allusions to numerous Marvel Cinematic Universe superheroes, many already introduced and others yet to come. This made some fans think the scene actually existed, but Valia debunked it this way: “The shopping scene? No, no. It was just a nod to the exchange of favors they did in the episode.”.
Although that particular scene does not exist, Valia has revealed it yes, there is a lot of material with Segarra and Gonzaga that was shot, but it was eliminated due to time constraints. According to the director, in “the little adventure” from Nikki and Pug to track down superhero designer Luke Jacobson (Griffin Matthews) “It was so fun seeing you together”and adds: “Ginger Gonzaga and Josh Segarra have a wonderful connection. There’s a lot of material left on the editing room floor and we couldn’t get in. But it was a lot of fun working with them.”.
More action in the following episodes?
One of Marvel fans’ complaints about “She-Hulk” is that action isn’t abundant in the series. Specifically, the fifth episode focused on the dispute between the evil Titania (Jameela Jamil) and Jen Walters, who he sued after registering She-Hulk’s name for his own benefit.
This chapter was perhaps the most purely sitcom so far in the series starring Bruce Banner’s cousin, which has led to a sector of fandom getting impatient. Will we see more action in the second half of the series? On this subject, Valia does not get wet and says the following: “You will have to see them. They are very different. I think the following episodes are very funny. I hope people have fun with them”.
“She-Hulk: Lawyer Hulka” premieres a new chapter every Thursday on Disney +.
