Following the end of the third season of “The Boys”, Amazon gave the green light to a second spin-off to expand Eric Kripke’s superhero universe with “Gen V”. The program has finished recording its first season and its protagonists have shared some photographs to celebrate the completion of the shoot.

Through social networks, it was announced that ‘Gen V.’ finished principal photography for the first season. “Yes, we are finishing production,” they wrote on the social networks of the Amazon Prime Video series. Furthermore, they took the opportunity to clarify that there is still no release date for the second spin-off of ‘The Boys’: “No, we still don’t know when it will come out.”

It must be said that ‘Gen V.’ will be set between the third and fourth seasons of ‘The boys’, so it will be crucial to understand some plots in the future of the main series. In addition, we will also see the consequences of some of the events seen at the end of the recent episode, such as the explosion in the Vought International Tower and the devastation of Soldier Boy.

It has been confirmed that “Gen V” will be “rated R”, which means it will maintain the same level of violence as “The Boys”.
