Cinedigm has released a fun trailer for an upcoming British mockumentary dark horror comedy titled When the screams begin. The film follows a man named Aidan Mendle who dreams of becoming a notorious serial killer. The synopsis reads:
When Norman Graysmith is invited to the home of aspiring serial killer, Aidan Mendle, he believes he has found the subject for the documentary that will transform his failing career. Initially the production goes well with Aidan opening up freely about his desire to kill, but when his first attempt to commit murder falls apart, things start to unravel. idan desperately tries to maintain his position as the next Charles Manson by starting a murder cult, interviewing potential members for what he fondly calls his “family”. Potential candidates provide a rich tapestry of misfits, from lost and confused to (most likely) psychopaths. Events begin to lose control and Norman watches his dreams crumble around him.
The film was directed by Conor Borù, and it looks like it could be a fun movie. However, it could be considered embarrassing because he jokes and makes fun of killing people. You will probably have to have a dark sense of humor to enjoy this thing.
The ensemble cast is present Ed Hartland, Jared Rogers, Kaitlin Reynell, Octavia Gilmore, Kave Niku, Ronja Haugholt, Var Haugholt And Yasen Atour.
Screambox will be released When the screams begin streaming on the Screambox service starting September 20, 2022.
