Fantastic costumes and concept art for Lucasfilm’s WILLOW sequel series

Lucasfilm and Disney shared some beautiful costumes and concept art for the highly anticipated Willow sequel series at D23 Expo this weekend and I took some photos to share with you!

This stuff looks a lot more interesting in person, but that’s the best I can do for now! While the costumes are amazing, it’s the concept art on display that stuns! I love this art and can’t wait to see all of these images come to life in the series!

The series takes place years after the events of the original Willow movie. “Introduces entirely new characters to the enchanted realm of fairy queens and two-headed Eborsisk monsters, and welcomes her eponymous hero, Willow Ufgood, once again played by the matchless Warwick Davis. “

The story revolves around a group on a mission to rescue a kidnapped prince. Members of this group include “Dove (Bamber), whose backstory is reminiscent of Willow’s from the film. Dove is an unassuming kitchen waitress who proves she is the” chosen one “as she embarks on the journey. She is joined by Kit, the princess. whose twin brother has been kidnapped. She is destined to become a leader and ultimately the queen. Kellyman plays Jade, a servant who is Kit’s best friend and moral compass. She is about to become the best young warrior in the kingdom. ” Sellers are said to play a resourceful character with a sharp and immature spirit.

The series is also the protagonist Erin Kellyman (Solo: A Star Wars Story, The Hawk and the Winter Soldier), Ellie Bamber (Nocturnal animals), Ruby Cruz (Easttown mare), Tony Revolori (The Grand Hotel Budapest), Dempsey Bryk (Birch), Talisa Garcia (Serve and protect, Baptist), And game of Thrones actress Rosabell Laurenti salesmen. Val KilmerMadmartigan will also be involved.

Giovanna Whalley She reprises the role of Queen Sorsha, the daughter of the evil Queen Bavmorda, as well as the adoptive mother of Elora Danan, the little girl from the original film. Madmartigan and Sorsha are also the parents of the series’ new main character, Princess Kit (Ruby Cruz), and her missing twin brother.

The group also includes a character who is said to echo the character of Val Kilmer in the film. He is described as a thief and a liar and joins the search in exchange for release from prison. That character will be played by Bryk.

Jonathan Kasdan (Solo) wrote the pilot episode and together will act as showrunner Wendy Mericle (Arrow). The epic fantasy adventure is set in an era of swords, witchcraft, myths and monsters.
