A trailer and poster have been released for the revenge thriller Beautiful blue eyesas a writer and director Joshua Newton. The film was shot way back in 2007 and was the actor’s last performance Roy Scheiderbetter known as Brody in the classic film Jaws. It had a New York / Los Angeles release, but didn’t have much publicity or wide distribution at the time, so now they’re bringing it back.
Scheider joins the cast from Scott Cohen, Sara Bolger, Helmut BergerAnd Alessandro Newton. Here is the description:
Beautiful Blue Eyes tells the story of a retired policeman (Roy Scheider) who is a Holocaust survivor and spent decades haunted by the murder of his family in a Polish forest during World War II. When he believes he has found the killer, he enlists his separated son to help him take revenge.
This teaser doesn’t give us much in the way of detail, but the premise sounds good. It looks a bit low-budget, but hopefully it’s just the cut of the very short trailer. Take a look below and see Beautiful blue eyes when it hits US theaters on September 9th.
