Dave Filoni made a new one Star Wars animated series titled Tales of the Jedi, and during the presentation of Lucasfilm’s D23 Expo, Filoni shared a fantastic trailer! Yes, this is one of the trailers they also released online, so you can check it out here!
Star Wars: Tales of the Jedi is a six-episode anthology series that features stories of other Jedi characters from the Star Wars universe. Stories in the series involve Ashoka Tano, Anakin Skywalker, Mace Windu, Qui-Gon Jinn and his master Count Dooku. Three episodes of the series will include Ahsoka and the other three will involve Count Dooku.
The shorts feature “parables built around the Jedi of the prequel era. Journey into the lives of two distinctly different Jedi, Ahsoka Tano and Count Dooku, each will be tested as they make choices that will define their destiny.
I love the Star Wars animated shows that Filoni produced with Lucasfilm. He’s a great storyteller and this Tales of the Jedi project looks great! I’m so ready to watch it and we won’t have to wait long before it’s released!
Speaking earlier on the show, Filoni said, “I’ve thought a lot about this adventure for Ahsoka, and it’s interesting to see how it evolved. Years ago, I never imagined she was born from a branch of a tree. That she had something to do with a guy [like] Din Djarin, or a child who looks like Yoda. It’s a great lesson for me on how, when you have other creatives like Jon Favreau, they can help bring that dimension and depth to what you’re doing. “
All episodes will premiere on Wednesday 26 October.
