We have more to share with you from Walt Disney Studio’s D23 Expo presentation! They shared a first look at an upcoming Pixar animated film titled helium. It looks like it’s going to be a sci-fi space adventure!
The film is directed by Coconut director Adriano Molinaand stars America Ferrera And Yonas Kibreab (Obi-Won Kenobi).
The story follows an 11-year-old boy (Kibreab) as he struggles to adjust to school. His life takes a very interesting turn when he is transported across the galaxy and is mistaken for the intergalactic ambassador of our planet Earth. As you can imagine, this is quite an exciting adventure for Elio as he also meets all kinds of interesting characters.
Ferrera will play her mother, Olga. She is described as “super confident, intelligent and able to resist in any situation”. Farrera went on to say: “She is a character who speaks to me in so many ways as a mother. And of course, with my degree in advanced math, I can finally put it into practice. Don’t google it.
Courageous‘S Mary Alice Drum is producing the film.
