Amazon Studios has released a new promotional spot for The Lord of the Rings: The rings of power, and focuses on one of the main characters in the series, Arondir, who is an elf charged with protecting the Southlanders. Arrondir is played by Ismael Cruz Cordova. The promo also includes new footage and an interview with the actor about his role in the story.

McKay had previously said of the series: “The Second Age is the great unfilmed story in Tolkien’s entire legendarium, with the forging of the rings and the Last Covenant, and we felt that that was the story that deserved to be told.” .
The series will debut on Prime Video on September 2, 2022.
