Jason Bateman (Ozark) returned to the Netflix party with a new action thriller produced by Amblin Continue. Bateman joins Taron Egerton in the film, which will be directed by Jaume Collet-Serra (Black Adam, orphan) from a script of TJ Fixman And Michele Verde.
The story centers on Ethan Kopek, “a young TSA agent who is blackmailed by a mysterious traveler into passing a dangerous package through security and boarding a flight on Christmas Day.” Bateman is said to play the mysterious traveler in the film.
I’m sure Bateman and Egerton will be great in the movie. Bateman recently wrapped production on an Amazon Prime Video film focusing on Nike’s research of Michael Jordan in the 1980s. That film is the protagonist Matt Damon and was directed by Ben Affleck.
