Netflix shared the trailer for its upcoming limited series Thai cave rescue, which is a drama that tells the story of the 2018 youth soccer team rescue mission in Thailand. This series will offer more in-depth untold stories revolving around the incredible and intense 18-day rescue of 12 boys and their soccer coach after they are trapped in the flooded cave of Tham Luang Nang Non. intense challenges rescuers faced trying to get these kids out of the cave. This is a truly remarkable story.
In the series, “The world came together in 2018 to look forward to and finally with relief as a dozen boys from the Wild Boars youth soccer team and their coach were rescued from a flooded cave in northern Thailand. The untold perspectives of the guys on the team will take center stage in the new series, which follows their journey to the caves of Tham Luang as it transforms from a fun adventure into a massive and critical rescue operation. “
Thai cave rescue is created by Michael Russell Gunn And Dana Ledoux Miller, who also serve as showrunners. The series was shot entirely in Thailand and stars Pratya “Tiger” Patong, Songpol “Pangpon” Kantawong, Chakkapat “Junior” Sisat, Thanawut “Bank” Chetuku, Teeraphat “Gun” Somkaew, Thanaphong “Pluem” Kanthawong, Thanapat “Utha” Phungpumkaew, Apisit “Fluke” Yukam “Watcharaph Kim “Puangsawan, Thapanot” Nam-Ning “Huttapasu, Apisit” Chit “Saengchan And Rattaphoom “Fluke” Nakeesathid.
The additional cast includes Papangkorn “Beam” Lerkchaleampote as Coach Eak, Thaneth “Ek” Warakulnukroh like Chiang Rai Governor Narongsak Osottanakorn, Urassaya “Yaya” Sperbund like Kelly, and Manatsanun “Donut” Phanlerdwongsakul like Pim.
Rich and crazy Asians director Jon M. Chu is the executive producer of the series and will premiere on September 22.
