Warner Bros. Discovery has been in the news a lot lately for all the weird business decisions they have made with many of the film and television projects that have been in development. They recently announced that both Shazam! Fury of the gods And Aquaman and the lost kingdom they were late. Because of this, many fans have wondered what the future holds for DC The flash movie.
The flash was a big priority for the studio but then the star of the film Ezra Miller he made a fool of himself that left the studio executives shaking their heads and wondering what they would do with the film. Well, the studio tested the film with the public and apparently people love it!
According to a recent report by The Hollywood Reporter, the studio still hopes that The flash it will be a great success despite Miller and the problems they have. The film is reportedly receiving the “highest scores in test screenings from Christopher Nolan’s Dark Knight films.” This is great news and has led WB to believe they have “critical and box office success in their hands”.
When it was announced that Michael Keaton would be returning as Batman, I knew the film was going to be a huge hit because everyone wants to see Michael Keaton as Batman! I won’t see this movie for Ezra Miller’s The Flash, I’ll see this movie for Keaton’s Batman! I think this applies to most people, and I don’t think WB understands it.
As for Miller, they’ve already issued an apology and apparently met with Warner Bros. Discovery executives in an effort to reassure them about the future of the film. I think it’s fair to say that Miller’s time as The Flash is over, but I can’t wait to watch this movie when it is finally released.
The film is currently slated to hit theaters on June 23, 2023.
