This film not only tells history, but also explores what it means to be human.
Director Matthew Palmer attended the Saatchi & Saatchi New Directors Showcase in Cannes and was also named a “Rising Star” by Shots Creative. His works have been shown and exhibited all over the world. Atlantic, Huffington Post, Aeon and more.
“Idea this land It came to my mind while I was working on another project in rural Georgia. I was surprised that the people I interviewed for this project, gun rights advocates who were born and raised in what I called the “middle way” at the time, had nothing in common. Nothing but the fact that we are all Americans. At the time I wondered what that meant. What is it like to be an American? How is that, how do you know who’s an American? Those questions stayed in my mind,” says Palmer.

This film will bridge the gap between Americans by documenting one of the most painful moments in American history.
