Sometimes you want to play Dungeons & Dragons but it is difficult or impossible to bring a group together. In those cases, you can still try playing using The toolbox of the lone adventurer from 5E Gamebook only. This is an unofficial supplement that aims to give you the tools you need to run a 5E session on your own.

No other players, no DMs, truly alone. This toolbox is now available through DMs Guild (affiliate link) and the recently released moiré team The Lone Adventurer’s Toolbox Part Two: The Expanded Toolbox. This is a complementary supplement that builds on the former, so we recommend that you take both. Second part adds more tables, new non-combat encounters, and even new systems for solo play among other additions. It seems like an amazing asset to have.

The idea is that this book will give you the tools to add more richness to your game. If you’re already playing solo, it also gives you some alternative systems to try. There are other resources that contain tools similar to those contained here. However, there are only a handful of resources that contain the breadth of the individual-specific resources presented here.

You can buy Second part from DMs Guild (affiliate link) for $ 14.95 for the PDF version. Physical copies and a Fantasy Grounds version are also available.
